It’s G.O. Time!

One of Greg Oden’s latest blog entries is titled “The Depression”.

“Yesterday was a very hard day for me because all i could think about was going out there and playing. I know that i wont be playing for a year, for the fact that i dont want to rush back and come back worse. I just want to be out there tomorrow.”

“Knowing that the season started its going to be really hard to be the happy always smiling guy that i am, because i want to be playing so bad.”

Knowing that he wants to play so much shows that he has the drive and determination to be able to rehab and the attitude it takes to be a great player. But it’s also going to be hard to see Greg not being the “happy always smiling guy”. Hopefully once he’s able to sit on the bench during the games he’ll feel better than being stuck watching at home.
