This site sure could use some more active members, I think a sim league would definitely help.
I understand if you want the board to stay completely Blazers related, but it would suck to see another "club" site get shut down because of inactivity. |

| Its basically where you are the GM of a team and you can do trades, FA, draft and other stuff that a GM in real life does. There is one simmer who simulates a season using a sim program and you get to see your team results on a index website. |

Sure, I've ran a league in Club Wizards before and it was pretty successful. |

sim league? eh... can't sim leagues stay at sim league forums? I mean with all due respect, this is a Club BLAZERS site, and all the extra forums make theses sites look less focused, and that is our best draw; being focused on one topic, in this case the Blazers.

we don't need more members, we need quality members. Quality blazer members, to make this a quality Blazer forum.
The Celtics just won the chip, with the right promotion, that site should do just fine without a sim league.

To be honest, its the sim league members who keep NBA discussion up and running in Club Celtics. That was just an example of a Club Site with a league on it. Most of the club sites got shut down b/c they were too inactive i.e Club Wizards (had a simleague but after the league ended the site was shut down). The Sim League is an added bonus and for entertainment for the members. The Blazers/NBA discussion automatically gets going.
Anyways, its up to the admins to decide. Just thought I'd throw out a suggestion. |

i thought you said it enhanced the forums because people were posting? if your site got shut down after the sim league finished, wouldn't that mean that none of those people migrated to the real life NBA forums of your site?
I think they are tacky and a waste of forum space.
