Los Angeles Times
"Soon after Sarah Palin was elected mayor of the foothill town of Wasilla, Alaska, she startled a local music teacher by insisting in casual conversation that men and dinosaurs coexisted on an Earth created 6,000 years ago -- about 65 million years after scientists say most dinosaurs became extinct -- the teacher said."

I never understood the clash between religion and evolution. Evolution has been proven, for these religious extremists to argue that either evolution or god doesn't exist just proves them wrong. If they believe that god created everything else then why couldn't he have created evolution as well? Just never made any sense to me.

Thats because you are going to heck.

Don't worry though. I'll be there as will Jimi Hendrix and John Belushi and a lot of people who really know how to party. Should be a helluva good time.

Seriously though, those folks are trained to believe that if it isn't in the good book or didn't come out of the pastors mouth it simply isn't so. What science proves or doesn't means nothing to them.

You really think that god would put a fellow Spurs fan in heck? Although I do root for the Raiders as well, so he may have to make an exception for me. Save me some Jack Daniels would ya.
