What would you do? My college roomate is visiting since he got a weekend pass from his wifey.

Probably gonna head to Multnomah Falls....maybe then go to Portland after lunch?

Oregon Coast would be fun might be too far though.....

When he gets to Multnomah Falls tell him to keep driving. Cross the bridge of the gods and turn left. then drive to bonneville hot springs. swim, hot tub, spa treatments, great food and beverages. wifey and I go there at least once a month, often twice. If he does the spa thing and doesn't want to eat there have him head back towards portland on the oregon side and exit at the sandy river and drive up the sandy river road and eat at Tads Chicken and Dumplings.

I'll actually be his tour guide. The thing is I have to make it back to PDX for happy hour...going out at night so don't want to get all tired out.

I was thinking of just doing multnomah falls in the morning...grab lunch back in Portland and walk around the city a bit.

You could take him steelheading on the Sandy River

Take a half day trip. These guys have nice comfortable boats, know the river, and furnish all the gear.
