11/19 vs Chicago Bulls

Our guys return to the Rose Garden after a five game trip to play the Chicago Bulls. This will be the second night of back to back games for the Blazers who play in Golden State the previous night.

Definitely a Blazers win to celebrate coming home. I'm also gonna predict that this is the first game Oden starts (just a hunch). I've got a good feeling about this one also because its the first game my mom is gonna go to in like 15 years. She called me to see if I had a Michael Jordan jersey she could wear . . .

There are games within the games ... this is one of them. After the turnovers ... LMA's boneheaded approach to backing down a shorter player who has a brain ... uneven officiating ... the unbalanced lineup (Prz, Blake and Batum ... not an offensive juggernaut as 3 of the starters) ...

the Chicago game has implications. Learn from the ugly Golden St. game--what Portland did wrong and how Golden St. played to their own strengths--and move on OR sink to .500 continuing a tough stretch. This is an important game against a team with no real presence in the middle. Their strengths at 2/3/4 are offset by Portland's.

This is an important win, and it's Portland by 12.

LaMarcus is coming in rested and pissed off. I think he will be good for 20 pts. Also, this is against Tyrus Thomas and we know how Tyrus wants to show the Blazers what they missed out on.

lol i want the blazers to win, trust me on that one. i THINK the blazers will win. BUT, in order to rise in the jersy standings i will pick the bulls to win this one.

I bet you don't feel like you've missed out on Tyrus since I traded you Outlaw for him. What a dud deal that turned out to be, though not nearly as bad as my Crawford/Barnes for Stuckey/Moon trade. :man6:
