discovery69: New Jersey - Dallas - Portland rumors

So Pritchard is not actively looking to make a trade. It is Dallas and New Jersey knocking at the door.

Devin Harris is a solid PG and at 25 years old would be a very good addition to the Blazers. I can see the Blazers dealing Jarrett Jack and Channing Frye which have been long rumored (i.e. Jason Quick and John Canzano) to be traded by this summer by draft ‘08.

I really don’t see the Blazers willing to trade Travis Outlaw and that maybe the deal breaker they are talking about. I think the most likely player to be traded will be Martell Webster. Martell is about two years away from probably becoming a solid starter with his shooting.

The other glaring thing about the Blazers is the lack of another rebounder besides Przybilla. If the Blazers are serious about the playoffs they will need to acquire another inside player who can defend and get rebounds. I think that player coming back to the Blazers would be Josh Boone.

If this trade was too happen then I think there is two likely possibilities:

Jason Kidd & Martell Webster to Dallas
Jarrett Jack, Channing Frye, Erick Dampier & Jerry Stackhouse to New Jersey
Devin Harris & Dallas ‘08 conditional 1st to Portland

OR

Jason Kidd & Martell Webster to Dallas
Jarrett Jack, Channing Frye, Taureen Green, Erick Dampier & Jerry Stackhouse to New Jersey
Devin Harris, Josh Boone & Dallas ‘08 conditional 1st to Portland
